As a Test Engineer specializing in integration testing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our mobile and front end applications by conducting rigorous tests that verify the seamless communication between mobile devices, front end systems and our backend systems.
Your expertise in using test tools and your ability to think critically will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify the integration between mobile devices, front end systems and backend systems
Utilize advanced test tools and methodologies to conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing
Collaborate closely with software developers, system architects, and product owners to understand system requirements and design test strategies accordingly
Design and implement test automation frameworks to streamline integration testing processes and improve efficiency
Identify, document and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to achieve higher levels of quality assurance
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving integration testing practices
You work at least 2 days a week at the office in Enschede
You have a university (MSc) or applied university/college (HBO/BSc) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
Proven experience as a Test Engineer, specifically in integration testing of mobile applications, front end systems and backend systems
In-depth knowledge of test tools and frameworks, for example like: Robolectric, Espresso, Testcafe, REST Assured or equivalent
Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and understanding of backend system architectures
Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) or equivalent is a plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
